[Ra...] Posted February 8 Share Posted February 8 I have some issues with the current part and the alignment. Some dimensions on the part are about .500 off. After reviewing my alignment, I'm noticing that the coordinate system from the plane and the alignment are not located at the same position. (see pictures) Every time I'm collecting points from the plane, those points are pointed down. I'm wondering if this issues with the coordinate system is creating other problems with the dimensions being off. How can I fix this problem? [Ke...] Posted February 8 Share Posted February 8 That appears to be normal. The larger, bolder trihedron is the representation of the base alignment of your part. The thinner trihedron is the local alignment of that feature, which for a plane is located at one of the corners. Very rarely will feature alignment trihedrons be exactly in the same place as the base alignment (usually when that feature is something like a hole, which is being used as the origin of the base alignment).
