[Aa...]
I'm trying to build my stylus system in Stylus System Creator and then use it in my Calypso Measurement Plan I'm putting together in Planner. If I click Planner>Import SSC File, the dialog that comes up wants me to Import the SSC Master Probe, but I don't know what file to point it to. Do I need to create a mock-up of the master probe in SSC and save it as an *.ssc file?
[Ri...]
Please sign in to view this quote. Yes, in SSC there are Master probes for you to build. If you are building one for the MT/VAST or a fixed head XXT, there is nothing special to do. If you are using an RDS, you will have to start with the [RDS] Probe adapter RDS-XXT 18p - then your variant of XXT/XDT - then you can select the appropriate Master probe. [Ca...]
Richard is exactly right, you will need to build a MasterProbe. I also, though, wanted to point you towards the ZEISS Knowledge Base that can just be accessed from the US right now, so depending on where you're located, it could be a good resource for you to get more information as you're setting up your simulation environment. This article will walk you through setting up a MasterProbe for the XXT stylus system, if that's what you're working with, but it links other set ups and you can search in there, as well! https://portal.zeiss.com/knowledge-base ... &id=420869
