Has anyone seen this error before? I am stuck in the middle with Zeiss tech support saying it is an IT issue, and IT saying it is Zeiss issue. I am confident that it is not a Zeiss issue, as this just starting happening out of nowhere, on my machines running 7.2, which hadn't been updated, on service pack, or patches, since July of last year, and this started happening in December. I updated to 7.4, but it is still happening.

We had a similar problem. Not sure if it was the exact same message but try this.
Do you save Measuring points? Resources > Result To File > Measuring points.
There may be too many of these. Delete what you don't need.

How much free space do you have on C?
We had a problem with our space some weeks ago, because windows (10) was writing a Search-Index-File bigger and bigger up to 430GB (but we never used the search), so our free space on C was 2GB...
If you save measuring points, there is used a lot of space too, maybe you should delete all files, you don´t need.

None of my programs run off the network. They are all on the local hardrive. Event the results are saved locally, and a batch file, that Zeiss gave me a long time ago, copies the results, after the program is finished. This is happening at the start of the program. Storage space is good, on all systems. Even on my systems with only a 500gb SSD, I am not using 50% of my storage. A former coworker did turn on measuring points. I can try to back these up somewhere and delete them, to see if that makes a difference. Thanks for the replies. 😃

On one of the machines in question, I cleaned up the measuring points folders, and the problem persists. Sometimes at the beginning of a program, sometimes at the beginning. It is very random.

May I ask if you are running some antivirus software? If yes, try to turn it off.
Check what is inside your path "c:\Users\cmm\AppData\Local\Zeiss\Calypso 7.4"

Verify that you have full admin privilege's and you do not have AV/Firewall blocking access to file systems. This is a file access issue OR disk space (but not likely). 99% of the time an error of this nature is a due to restricted permissions. (IT always denies the change btw 😉 )
