How to apply a Stylus List to an SSC file? (Vast XTR)

I have not tried this before; I have an SSC file for a probe build.
I import the SSC file, create a List of articulations, how do I apply the List so I can use the SSC file in planner?

What I have found.
Import SSC file (Ok).
Create List of articulations (Ok).
Apply list to Probe (SSC file) and the SSC model goes away. (Lose all Radius values for stylus tip, lose all XY coordinates)
Import SSC file again, and the List of articulations goes away.

The XTR is not allowing a selection for automated articulations.
I have never tried using a List offline, can't seem to find a procedure for this.
The XTR doesn't have the same options as RDS.

After you create the additional angles, click the "create a new stylus system" icon at top right. Select Update and then click OK. Close RC list.
Turn on simulation and index styli

Must have been some type of glitch.
I restarted Calypso and now it works.
🙄

And the geometry is gone again.... 🤣
Back to all zeros.

I have geometry again.
But no articulation movement in Stylus System Simulation mode when I select other stylus tips.
I have 24.

It appears there is no relation to the SSC file after applying the RC List.

After you click Create a New Stylus System and click Update and get presented with the Transfer System Data, are you leaving the original stylus or selecting New Stylus? Leave it on the original stylus

I don't seem to get the options as you show.
This is applying the original stylus to all styli.

Note:
Your menu is different than mine?

I'm on v2017.

I can only go back to 2019 and the screens is almost exactly the same as the 2023 version pics I posted earlier.

When you import the SSC file, I assume the X, Y, Z and Radius are as expected. So, something you're doing after you add the new styli is not the same as what I am doing. Or, version 2017 has a glitch.

I personally think it's a BUG with Planner, I'm pretty sure it's a visual issue not interacting with the Probe model (SSC).
I can get all the geometry and that the few I checked had correct geometry.
Planner goes thru all the dialog boxes and typical time frame to perform an articulation change.

Thank you for assisting.

I have confirmed that there exists an issue related to Calypso Planner versions that are pre-dated to the Vast XTR head's introduction.
There may be a work around and I am getting that information to test.

This XTR and Planner....
I have been able to install v2022.
I created my Probe.
I have 24 articulations.
And the only way to see the XTR rotate is to have the "Vast XTR RC Position" window open and select the angle I need.
Otherwise, it always goes back to the default -Y (In this case assigned Zero degrees).
It will not auto rotate for a given rotation.

The Vast XTR will rotate when selecting a tip as long as you are selecting from the "Vast XTR RC Position" window.

Yes and no.
I can create the list and initially it will have proper geometry.
If I attempt to do the same probe and list a second time, it comes up all zeros.

Not sure why you would do it twice.

However, I think I'm seeing the problem in that the XTR doesn't index during a program execute in 2022 simulation.

Ran the same program in 2023 and saw movement.

For now, I leave the RC List dialog box open. (The initial window where you can enter an angle).
I can run a single feature and it will sometimes articulate on its own or I select an articulation value.
