Probing dynamics / Vast navigator

Hello,

Can I change probing dynamics or measuring force in Vast navigator for certain element? I mean is it ok to change it, if probe calibration was done with different values? Thank you

Both can have significant effects on your measured results and are generally best aligned with the settings you qualify at.

My advice is to perform some tests on known artefacts I.e a ring gauge and look at the effects on roundness and size as an example - both in terms of bias and overall repeatability. This all depends on what you are trying to achieve of course.
