Help needed with scanning 2D and 3D curves (for scanning Cam lobe profile)

Hello everyone, I am currently working on a program that measures (scanning) cam lobe profile and compares actual profile with nominal profile. However, I don’t have advanced knowledge about scanning contours like 2D curve, 3D curves in Calypso software. Can someone please guide me on how to scan 2D and 3D curves in Calypso software? Also, I have nominals like base radius, start of lift angle, end of lift angle, etc. of that lobe. Can I generate nominal lobe profile using PCM?(using mathematical calculations of Cam lift) Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
