We're running Version 7.6.0407 SP 1.
some old programs seem to not be affected but, if we click on a char. nothing highlights in the cad window. There is no way to know what feature is connected to that Char. I have always just used the default names for Chars ( circle 1 ...) but we have been renaming things to accommodate customers and machine operators. If it says Diam circle 1, it's pretty obvious which feature it is, but the Highlight was better at Identifying where that Char is. Is this by design or a mistake??

All updates installed; settings double checked. Open program and the cad model shows for a split second then disappears. I have to "redraw cad model" to get it back. If I switch to another program, then come back to the original program, then the cad disappears again. The update did fix the Highlighting on a non cad program. 😕

My apologies, I meant to update that with images when I got back to my PC, but never made it. This is the setting I am referring to: 2915_7a0d12ed7dbfd18f42ba977aeba99496.gif
It may be labelled "CAD Load Settings" in older versions of Calypso

Is this occurring on all programs or just one? The last few times I saw this it was an issue related specifically to the CAD model itself in a single program. The cause was unknown. The fix was to delete the model files in the inspection plan folder, then re-import the CAD model. This will require a "CAD Model Comparison" action to re-link all the features to the CAD surfaces if you prefer this.

Clarification - To delete the model, the files themselves must be deleted. That action is not just "CAD > View > Delete". Common misconception is that selecting that option deletes the model, it doesn't. You must delete all 4 model* files. .fct, .jpg, .sab, _eval.sab

If you are importing the same model, then just the sab and fct are necessary. If it is a new/ different model then all 4 are necessary in reality
