[Ni...]
I have a question regarding MMC on a position. the question is what exactly is the additional line with Pos.(M)? I attached a snippet of a report for a slot position. it shows the width and the tolerance then the position with max material added, the error of Z then the third lines which appears to have calculated the position regardless of MMC but changes the error. Shouldn't the error be the same regardless of size? say ifs an error of .005, so position of .010, why would the mmc change the result? thanks NickMMC Question.PNG

[Ni...]
Please sign in to view this quote. That third line with the (M) is the data normalized and scaled back to what the tolerance was. It takes your .0086 (tolerance plus the bonus) and scales it back to .006 then it takes your actual result of .0134 and scales it back to .0093. using that same percentage that it used to scale it back in the tolerance. That line is mainly used for spc software since in those you cannot have tolerances changing per part. It has to have a single static tolerance which is not possible when you have bonus tolerances. [To...]
Is it possible to include the additional line when exporting the data through “Result File”?
[Ni...]
Please sign in to view this quote. I've been trying to get it to come up but I can't. But at previous company I worked at it would show up when it would collect with ProLink.
