If this helps, the plane on the bottom (bellow the cylinder) is at 35°.If I intersect the 3 planes, it measures 14. I still don't understand what the 4.5° is relative too. [DW...] Posted November 27, 2023 Share Posted November 27, 2023 Draft angle is very important in casting and injection molding. It allows the part to release from the mold. The drawing should specify draft in a general note or on applicable dimensions (like a distance measured plus or minus draft). Lots of good material online.
