It was unfortunately removed as part of the redesign of the stop light window. I believe there is a MyVoice request posted requesting its return, if you would like to add your vote to that.

Off the top of my head and not conclusive as I’ve just been using it about a month and limited at that but,
2023 improvements I like after coming from version 2021.
• Cad models can now be made transparent.
• You don’t have to enter a formula in the alignment loop value, just the delta.
• You can now choose to close a plan after CNC run in the start menu.
• Can select to post illustrations/instructions with a programmable stop in a feature.
• Can change the traffic light to green or red without having to bring it up because it’s also at the top of the calypso screen and can also hide the light if wanted.
• Features saved in cad presentations are now shown.
• Travel to Home Position added to plan menu.

Things I don’t like about 2023. 😐
• The interface icon colors and symbols have changed so, I have to rewrite all operator instructions to match the new look and that takes time and time is money but they don’t care 🙄 🤣
• They removed the graphics element completely and you now have to use pie-web but, I haven’t figured out how to combine multiple scans into one plot yet like you could with the graphics element.
• Using the run “start” measurement icon on the characteristics and features tab doesn’t bring up the report header data to fill out if needed like using the now changed color of the start/run icon at the top of calypso did.

Things I’m looking forward to in Calypso 2024. 😉
• The vwnt.exe 32 Cad graphics interface is supposedly and finally being upgraded to run completely on 64-bit.
• Quote -32-bit software is limited to addressing only 4 GB of RAM, while 64-bit software can theoretically address up to 18.4 million TB (terabytes) of RAM!

My experience with 2023 was limited, but I think you can work around this by copy-pasting a graphics element from another measurement plan. All that got removed was the menu item to create new ones.

You also must add in the BasicReporting software installation. Look in the ZEISS PORTAL KB for info on how (and download link).

Nice list but you missed about 40 😃 ... Like AutoRun on the launch menu and EndPark added to AutoRun use.

Im not sure what you are seeing because this is not true. That functions remains and I just tested myself to verify. Please verify you have "Force Input at Start" checked in Resources > Report Header Parameters. Also, that the userfields are checked for "RUN" in the selection dialog from Multiple Report window.

😉 "Supposedly" 🤣

That's true, AND if you set the compatibility option "Show discontinued report templates" to On, you also get all the missing menu items back, like View -> Calypso graphics feature, and also Resources -> Utilities -> Graphics Element. So no copy/paste needed.

" its midieval and off-putting and it looks like a disgrace" damn he took it personal 🤣 but a bit exaggerated I think, I used to orient myself with the little stylussystem when programing with CAD . it actually helped me noticing when I was using the wrong probe, really useful for those new to programming.
