Dichtfläche entlang Innenkontur scannen - Wie?

Hallo zusammen,

Set the default strategy for plane under Resources > Load / Save Defaults.

When you initially extract the plane feature it should apply all-around polyline(s) according to your default strategy.

Or from within your existing strategy the select multi-polyline icon

Unfortunately, you will have to generate this path yourself. Create a new polyline strategy and place your points where you want them. Take advantage of the arc button to convert 3 points from lines to an arc.

Not sure if is this feature abbandoned but on polyline strategy there is button on bottom to generate path from face. You only need to extract plane from model. It's not working on manually created plane.

OR you can generate curve from edge of model - then transform nominal vectors by 90° - then change nominals by moving in vector direction to get offset.
Then on plane ( or any other feature ) use point group, select curve and voila - path created 🙂

Poster already auto-generated a polyline from outer profile of plane but also wanted to auto-generate a polyline from inner profile, as shown in my last picture.

OK now i get it - i don't think it's possible - everytime i used that generated path it was always outer.
I described optional approach to get even path. Perhaps someone will appreciate that 😉

Thank you for your posts. I found a solution for this, but it is not the prettiest solution:

I created Multi-Polylines on the surface and deleted all polylines expect the one on the inner contur.
So I have the result that i wanted. 3032_51a81b896ef69f95475ed68e91c4b50c.jpg

This is the easiest method. Create a multi-polyline strategy and specify your edge distance. Delete all paths that are unneeded. If it is a feature with hundreds of paths, be sure to exit the feature fairly often and create a "copy" to go back to if you delete the wrong paths.

Sorry I posted bad information. I was aware of multi-polyline but did not realize it would give you the one you were looking for.
