[An...]
Every time I "Save as" an inspection, Calypso locks up and will not respond. If left for 30+ minutes, it will sometimes un-freeze. However, even if it is force-closed after a few minutes, the saved-as file(s) are there and will open fine. So its saving, but then locking up. Any ideas? [Ke...]
Are you saving the program local to your PC or to a network location?
[An...]
Ctrl+Y brings up an error message, but doesn't unfreeze the program. This happens saving locally or to a network location.
[Ro...]
Sounds like a bug in your computer, how much RAM do you have installed? i would consider 8 or 16 gig to be minimum. The computers that Zeiss provides tend to be underpowered in that department. At my last job, if my own memory serves me right i think our online machine with a Zeiss provided computer only had 4gig, and it had lots of freezing problems. My current computer is an offline seat. It has 16Gig, and i normally run Calypso + Solidworks + about 30 open tabs on Chrome + the standard amount of office type programs, no problem. [An...]
This is happening on multiple different machines. I have an offline seat and this computer has 24GB of RAM. I did just try Ctrl+Y again and it worked this time. ❓
