Curve and/or Freeform?

Hello all, long time lurker, few posts, much reading and appreciation!

Anyway, my question is how do i know if i need to buy Curve or Freeform or both?! (and training of course)

The majority of my measurements will involve surface profiles, ie point A to point B on curved geometric surfaces, but i also need to measure molded plastic surfaces as well with not so geometric shapes.

Any help/insight would be greatly appreciated.

Curve is a great software that every calypso should have, I think you should definitely buy it. Works great if you have curved surfaces

FreeForm works mostly on profile dimensions, non-geometric surfaces and generally on forged parts.

Accordingly, you should take both along with education. 2500_1c5be5631569f33a75144511436e219d.pdf

If I was limited on a budget, I would choose Curve over FreeForm... but you definitely want both.
I believe that the purchase price includes training.
