[To...]
Running into some confusion with dissimilar results between a Position in the new GDT Library vs. the legacy Best Fit Bore Pattern Even though I don't need to use SIM REQ because I am using a fully constrained DRF, the plotting capability is limited to one position per plot if I don't use it.BestFitBorePattern Position_1.JPGBestFitBorePattern Position_2.JPGGDT Postion_2023_1.JPGGDT Postion_2023_2.JPG

[To...]
I think I may have stumbled onto part of the problem. Unlike the legacy position, the new Position does not convert the datum features to Outer Tangential Element or apply constraints per ISO5459. I was able to change all 3 of the datum feature planes to Outer Tangential but the constraint button was grayed out. I got a little closer to the same numbers but I'm guessing the lack of the ability to apply a constraint may close the gap even furtherGDT Postion_2023_3.JPGBestFitBorePattern Position_3.JPG
[Br...]
Have you tried to use the candidate datum feature option? I got some really wacky numbers using that with MMB.

[Ri...]
Please sign in to view this quote. Which standard are you using: ASME or ISO? That will change how the DRF is constructed.
[To...]
Please sign in to view this quote. ASME Didn't know there was a difference in DRF. Can you expound?
