[Da...]
The above information, from an infamous post (that I really don't want to revive) doesn't seem to work as described. First of all, the description says " if the delta value of the system is equal or HIGHER than the specified delta value, the iteration is interrupted. Typically, we want the break to happen when the delta value is LESS than the specified delta value. So I'm wrong, It works exactly as described. We filled in a value (.001) and ran the alignment...NO loop. Changed the value to .000050 and still no loop. Filled out the complete formula and it looped 4 times. If you're using this , better test it... We're using 2023 . Let me know if you find the same results.
[Je...]
This was just tested in one of our labs to verify using CY23 (7.6.0406). The function appeared to work as intended (regardless of the apparent typo). Break set to .00001 - Completed after multiple iterations Break set to .001 - Completed after 1st iteration Please make sure you have the most recent Service Pack (7.6.04) installed. There does appear to be an issue that was resolved in terms of metric/inch conversion for the Delta value but I cannot confirm this is the cause of your experience. [Ow...]
So, this is a step closer to having the ability to stop the loop without PCM if the condition is not met? With some kind of pop-up that says “the delta value was not met in the set loop limit, do you want to continue or do you want to check the stabilization of your part/fixture and or the probe qualifications standard deviation”? 😉
[Je...]
Please sign in to view this quote. I have also experienced this problem. I switched back to using the formula for the time being. We're using Calypso 2023.
