Once you do that, PiWeb adds "TOLERANCES" to the coordinates.
Isn't that cool!!!

Tolerances.

Hi

Thanks for this, really helped. However, is there a way of rotating my co-ordinate system so that each hole becomes zero in 'X'?
Example, I'm measuring some holes on a shaft sat in the ZX plane. See attached, my nominal values for Hole1 at 12 o clock (highlighted) is 5.200" in Z (half my PCD) and then 0 in X (centre)..but as we rotate round the face measuring each hole, the nominals change to actual position related to the centre. What I'd like, is the co-ordinate system to rotate so that each hole becomes TDC, and we have the same 5.200 and 0 nominal values. Makes it easier to understand when sharing the data with customers

Thanks!
Jack

I think the only way to do that is generate a new alignment for each hole. We do that on several jobs ourselves. Usually we take the existing alignment, copy/paste, and then modify using "Special" button, It can be a pain to get all the alignments setup, and you end up with a lot of alignments depending on the part. (see pics below).
