Transfer report pages from a project to another project

Hello GOM Team,

what would be the most elegant way to transfer report pages from a project to another one?

The context here is a measurement program that we have forked some time ago (2018) and now we want to merge the resulting project together again.

CAD files are the same between the projects and project elements say 90%.

Any idea before diving into python ??

Save Reports as Templates, then create a package.

That way all the reports will be available in any new projects or new GOM versions.

I struct with exact same issue now ( Im using Gom inspect 2020 )
I tried to create project template and export as packages.
I imported the package to targeted project and nothing happens.
What am I missing here ?
I was expecting the importing of package will bring up all dims and report pages to the targeted project.

Help me out here. Please.

I don't think you can create project template and export that as package. You can do this way report templates, table templates, result templates and keywords ( also export to qdas and other )

Created project template you can freely copy from stored folder.

We could Import one project to another project as new part folder.
That way all the report pages from both projects will be added and we can export CSV/PDF.
Here the problem is , if both projects has same alignment / coordinate system - The project rename every same elements differently.
Hence report page to corresponde to project shows differently.
We cannot claim both are same project while exporting report pages.
