[Vi...]
Hello All, I have been running this same program for the last 2 months with the same probes on a vast XT head using calypso 2023. When I started the program today I got this error. I am still new to Zeiss and there warning messages but have came across a couple post about the head may have gone out of it. Is that true, or did I mess up by not qualifying the stylus?
[Ke...]
The vast majority of the time you see this error, it is caused by a failing probehead. If you would like to verify that it is not your program you could try opening a blank program and doing a CNC pickup of the probe in question. Typically this error will start with the heaviest or most unbalanced probe, and over time as the probehead condition deteriorates more and more probes will show the error. I would also go ahead and submit a ticket for Hardware to the Zeiss Helpdesk (cic.metrology.us@zeiss.com or 1-800-327-9735)
[Vi...]
I just submitted a ticket for this. Is this something that would require us to replace the head?
[Ke...]
Most likely, yes. Our hardware team will be able to give a better answer, but my expectation would be a service tech will be needed to replace and tune the new probehead.
