[Ky...]
To whom it may concern, I wanted to reach out to the community to see if anyone else is having issues with getting Zeiss in to calibrate CMM'S. My machines were due for calibration in April of this year, and they have yet to show up/schedule the calibration. Is anyone else having this same issue? Sincerely, A concerned CMM programmer/operator

Kyle, this appears to be a reoccurring issue that multiple customers are experiencing this year: viewtopic.php?t=11472&hilit=calibration+scheduling
[Da...]
I had the same issue back in march of 2023 Zeiss was able to get someone in about a week past our calibration due date. I started getting the ball rolling this year 6 months ahead of time and we were able to lock in a date about a week before our calibration expires. [Je...]
Please sign in to view this quote. Kyle, I am sorry you are frustrated with the Calibration scheduling and delays that may be encountered. I contacted your AMS representative yesterday and verified that your calibrations are currently scheduled, on track for completion at communicated timeline and that timeline was communicated to your purchasing manager prior to purchase order release. If you feel there is an error here, please review with your purchasing manager (or responsible party) to confirm and if necessary, contact your AMS representative to verify. I would be happy to assist as well if you encounter further issues. To All: While I do understand the frustration that comes along with scheduling Calibrations and being told the wait may be several weeks or even several months. To mitigate and possibly eliminate this frustration, I strongly encourage everyone (please inform your responsible scheduling/purchasing resource of this) to schedule your subsequent calibration upon the completion of the next. If you haven't already scheduled your next calibration date, I would advise you to do so immediately to ensure you are not negatively impacted by scheduling availability. Please contact your AMS representative at this point and schedule for the next interval promptly. The date of calibration expiration is communicated at time of calibration, is labeled on the machine and should be well documented in your Quality Management System procedures.
