[Ch...]
Can anyone help me understand the Q-Das files generated by Calypso? Here is the goal. I have a cmm that is integrated with a machine that uses Q-Das. I need to understand what a typical Q-Das setup looks like from the Calypso side of things. Also, how can I easily see what K-fields correspond to what Calypso field? Any way to change order or number of K-fields?
[Fl...]
Maybe you already know this but: You can define the Q-Das ouput in the "qdasconfig.con" file which is stored at the Calypso version folder: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Zeiss\CALYPSO 7.0 There is also a description of everything in the file. I attached the default file

I very much appreciate the help Florian. Incase anyone else is wondering, The QS-Stat manual in userinfo was helpful as well. This Q-Das and K-field stuff is wild. I didn't like it at first but its starting to grow on me. [Ri...]
FYI - PiWeb utilizes K fields as well, so it all flows together.

Just kidding, I was noticing the same Kfields and I'm glad I was familiar with it before I started this Q-Das project. The config text file is much less intimidating now that I've worked with it a bit. Honestly, it was almost easier to work with than PiWeb. Did Zeiss put lipstick on a text file, call it PiWeb, then charge 30K for it?
