[SH...]
I can't load my model to bevel gear, l try to load model inside the program file... Also, I save model from Calypso to custom location as step or iges files but still it fails..IMG_20230912_193551.jpgIMG_20230912_194839.jpg
[Ri...]
There is no point in loading the CAD model into GearPro. You generate the Gear file with the nominals, and it will build a model for you.

Bevel gear is a different scenario, I think it is a problem in the model... usually we work with models but only this particular customer model has always problems.... [Ri...]
If the model opens in Calypso can you save it as a "sab" file and open that in Bevel Gear? I have not used Bevel Gear, but when I have issues with models and can save as sab, it usually helps.
[Ch...]
Gear Pro will create cylindrical CAD models given the nominal data - but will not create bevel model with theoretical data. As to why your model is not loading - I'm not sure. What I would recommend is load it in Calypso - go to CAD entities - hierarchy, remove any extra entities/loose pieces, etc. Try healing the model in Calypso and save as .sat or .sab then import in Gear Pro. Out of curiousity, are you trying to start a new bevel gear program and then importing the CAD before entering any nominal data, etc ? What version Gear Pro do you have ? Is the gear unusually small or large, or missing any teeth ?
[Ch...]
I notice the first screen shot shows bevel gear background, and second screen shows cylindrical gear. that seems odd. We have had issues where out Gear Pro ACIS does get corrupt. There is a way to repair with a Gear Pro install I believe - you may want to try this if all else fails. I am by no means a bevel expert, I have always specialized in involutes, but the people that I know who use bevel typically just import Gleason/Klingenlberg files via Files - Import Model. Having said that, you should still be able to manually define the bevel gear inside of GearPro.

New program, first enter the nominals then load cad model, it is medium ring gear ,no missing teeth.version I think 6.8. Now the problem solved, my senior person did it, but he doesn't disclose to me what was the real problem. I think he did some tricks in cad setting.
