[Br...]
We are having some issues with rectangular patches of mesh missing after a job is completed scanning in a scanbox. These patches of missing data are only around hole features. We use cut out points at 4mm so it deletes all of our surrounding fixture mesh. We also have been cleaning up the holes by selecting through mesh and deleting any unnecessary noise around the bottom of the sheet metal holes. What alignment should you be in when you are deleting mesh (cleaning up holes). We have been doing this in our final RPS. But when a scanbox is done scanning, at what operation order does the cut out points get performed? After prealignment? Maybe that is why once we shift to RPS, the mesh location has changed slightly and the rectangular patches appear? Does this sound like a correct theory? [Na...]
Hello Brad, the cut out points function is performed in the initial alignment, e.g. prealignment or by reference points. Regards, Nanno
