CAD model Help

I have the side plane selected, and it has become a solid plan which covers up the tapered bore inside of it. Why does this happen and how do I fix it? There have been other times with different programs that it has done this as well and I always just end up starting over because I can't figure out what is happening. Thanks in advance!

CAD -> Settings -> Geometry

Uncheck " Show 3d geometry Features without CAD Reference"

This will fix the issue but it means you won't get a visual representation of things like a recalled 3D Line either. Better to fix the cad comparison issue - sometimes saving the model as .sab, deleting the model in Calypso, then reloading it and redoing the comparison fixes issues like this.

Unchecking that box did not fix it either.
Can you explain to me what caused the solid plane to appear in the first place? There is only 1 CAD model involved.

If it was in the model, wouldn't it have been there from the time I opened it? It was not there at first. I was programing and then it appeared suddenly and I am not sure if it was something I did on accident or what. Thank you for all the help, I am still fairly inexperienced.

Calypso has the ability to generate CAD entities independent of the imported CAD model(s). For example, there is an option called "Create Geometry" for making simple planes and cylinders. Calypso also auto-generates CAD entities for things like point sets, and temporary entities are created for characteristic evaluation. The "Section" tool under Create Features also populates CAD entities.

Occasionally, I have noticed Calypso create unwanted CAD entities, such as the plane you are posting about. As mentioned, you can delete these unwanted entities under the "Modify CAD Entities" window.
