Installing Calypso, Net Runtime 6.0 won't install.

I have attempted to install Calypso v2022 but it fails when installing Net Runtime 6.0.
No instructional information, just: Net Runtime 6.0 failed to install.
I have also tried to install v2023, with the same issue.

In both cases above I aborted the installation of Calypso.

Can anyone provide some information on this from your installs?

This happens on our computers. It seems to happen when Net Runtime 6.0 is already installed. I usually continue with the installation, and it appears to work fine. I think it's a bug on Zeiss's end.

Some thoughts to consider - Are your Windows updates up to date? Does this computer meet the minimum requirements for the .NET 6 Framework? And lastly, have you completed a restart of the computer? I have no idea, but before a call to Zeiss I would check those things first.

I had the same problem.
Removing all the Net Runtime apps before installing Calypso 2023 did the trick for me.
Look for anything with .net or Runtime in it. I overlooked one and got the same error over and over again.
