[Aa...]
I need to create a custom text report that will be saved in .txt format. I'm looking to do something similar to the Default Printout, but I would like to declutter by having just the characteristics of the project listed, instead of including all the features. Additionally, I would like the header to include the time of the run and the temperature read by the temp comp thermocouple. Does anyone have any information they could give to aid in this effort? [Cr...]
It's been a long time since I've done anything like that. I believe you will need to go into Resources-Design Custom Report-Report Head... Then open "cphead" This will open the compact report header. I don't think there is an option for run time. Hope this helps
[Aa...]
Thanks, Craig! Is it possible to have this compact report save as a .txt file? There is a field "CMM No.", which I assume is intended for identifying which machine was used when multiple are available. How Do I go about making sure that number will be useful, and that not all reports will list the same default number regardless of the machine? (Maybe this field returns the machine's SN, in which case this is a silly question.)

If I make changes to the compact report header and save them, what are the changes linked to? The CMM? The measurement plan?

[Je...]
Custom or compact report formatting files are contained in the "\protocol\protform\" directory of your default CALYPSO directory.
