Be advised, this stopgap is intended only for Zeiss Service programs, and the intent is to remove this in the future, once internal programs are updated to PiWeb, at which point this will stop working. The day they update Calypso and do not have access to the custom report, and all the PCM i spent 5 years writing will become compromised. No way all those getActuals will translate without help. So when the ZEISS service programs are updated, THEN the stop gap will stop working...So, as customers we are out of luck. But Zeiss service will be ok by then. ZEISS Service programs were all converted within a few days of this compatibility setting roll-out and this was implemented at the beginning of CY22 only for a select few service programs only with the intention that it would be removed during a later SP. The mere existence of this post may be enough to prompt a reminder and removal of that compatibility setting as it was not intended to be used as a robust workaround and was only intended to be a very temporary internal measure due to its limited application. IE - It may break some report functions, entire reports and/or cause software crashes in some scenarios as it was not intended to be utilized going beyond CY21. READ: ENABLE AT YOUR OWN RISK and be aware, this function will likely be terminated as it is also not communicated as an official support item in CY22+ I am only the messenger here, but please keep in mind, this end-of-life status has been communicated since release of CALYPSO 2015 and the end of support deadline and availability of the Custom Report was actually extended by 1 year into CY21. While I understand the transition to PiWeb at this point may not be simple for some if that time was not utilized, ample time and notice has been given to prepare for this change.
