[Ri...]
Currently, until an upgrade is performed, I work with two versions of Calypso; v2019 and v2022. These are on separate CMM's. Along with PCM files I use an "inspection_end.bat" file. The "inspection_end.bat" file works fine on v2019 install but doesn't work on v2022 installs, its like it is ignored (I have two new CMM's, setup and installed by Zeiss). Both documentation for v2019 and v2022 use the same name for batch files. This batch file resides in the "\workarea\inspections\" folder (Default location) so all programs will utilize the batch file. Any ideas why this is batch file is ignored on v2022? [DW...]
This is a stab in the dark but it may not be related to the newer version at all. What is the execution policy on the Calypso 2022 computer? Does the user (assuming you are not running under Administrator) have all the required permissions to allow the batch file to execute? IT at a lot of places lock down the computers to not allow execution of certain files (batch, powershell, etc) to prevent malicious codes from wrecking the network. [Zo...]
I had similar issue. in my case there were multiple versions installed on the PC and therefore multiple Zeiss folders in documents. even though my file was on the proper version, it was using other version's workarea. my calypso 6.8 was running from "Calypso" folder and not from "Calypso 6.8" folder
[Ch...]
The one time this tripped me up it was exactly like Zolfagari described.
[Ri...]
I placed the batch file in a location on a network drive where the Excel files are saved, for some reason Calypso is starting the batch file as it should. It was placed there so an operator could double click the file and run the event. They work in Autorun and have limited access to folders. 😱

[Ri...]
The batch file was originally in the "workarea\inpections" folder, just like it is on v2019. Calypso v2022 did not activate the batch file until I moved it. And I don't know why. yet...
