[Be...]
I am inspecting a snap ring groove using a stylus system on an XXT with two styli mounted in the #2 and #4 positions (+/-Y) on a star adapter. The RDS angle for measurement of the groove is A:0° B:-90° and both styli have been qualified individually. I am setting up a mirrored part and need to use this stylus system angled at A:0° B:90°. I am relatively new to Calypso and unsure of how to manage the qualification of the two styli at multiple angles. Do I have to overwrite and re-qualify the angles of each when switching between parts or is there a way to have multiple angles associated with the same stylus on a star setup? [Dy...]
Just wanna make sure I read correctly you have a stylus system with only 2 probes on it @ #2 and #4 directions. If that's correct you could rotate your head to "90, 0" so the probes are facing #3 and #5 then calibrate them individually like that you don't overwrite them, just rotate to the angle you want name and qualify it
[To...]
Just position to new rotation, add 2 more styli and assign them 2 new numbers. The actual numbers are irrelevant in this application.
