Combining several measurement plans

Has anyone used this function? I found the subject in the 2022 help file. I was looking for a solution to run 2 programs for mating parts without having to combine them into one program. Actually looking to have 1 report with the results from 2 mating parts so the fit parameters could be analyzed.

Is this something different than a macro ?

I've combined 2 programs with a macro. Have not tried 3 yet.

Theoretically you should be able to make the calculations for the report as well.

This is a very old Calypso feature. It was made with dual horizontal arm CMMs in mind, where each arm is controlled by its own Calypso PC, but both measure the same part. With a master plan you're able to evaluate the seperate measurements of both arms in one program.

It's been a very long time since I tried it, and as far as I remember you can't actually run the combined programs from the master plan, but only evaluate already finished runs as if they were one. So you still need to run each program one by one, then use the master plan to do the evaluation. But don't hold me to it.
