ZEISS CALYPSO - EXPERT course

There has been some expressed interested in the ZEISS CALYPSO - EXPERT course. I have discussed this with "The Great Ryan Stauffer" (he loves when I call him that). He has informed me that there is a Live-Online course during the week of July 24, 2023. It has open enrollment at this time.
Live Online for CALYPSO Expert will require mostly offline/desk/conference room time + 2-3 hours of CMM time per day for exercises. It is one of the most applicable courses to the Live-Online format (along with AUKOM and PiWeb) as minimal CMM time is needed, which also prevents under-utilization of your production equipment.

If you are not able to attend the Live-Online session, there is a planned in-person course for the WIXOM, MI ZEISS EXCELLENCE CENTER during the FALL '23 season. Date is not yet scheduled but I would encourage you to get on the wait-list if you are unable to attend the Live-Online course for JULY 24.

Link for the training course is below. Again, this is the ZEISS-US based training course.

"The Great Ryan Stauffer" - 100%!
Helped me out a few times when nobody else could back in 2005-2007.
I got to meet him at a Metrology conference back in 2011, great guy.
One of the more/better analytical thinkers in the business.

Years ago, when I wanted to make the leap from inspector to programmer, I wasn't able to find much info online about CMM. I did, however, find these wonderful documents made by the Great One himself. After completing my inspection rounds for the shift, I would study these. Ryan helped give me a boost in my career without knowing it (I have since thanked him). He definitely has the heart of a teacher.

Y'all need to quit it, quit it now!

Thanks for the kind words... Good to see my contributions to the forums of the past still live on!

I have been largely absent on the forums since the last time the "old forum" was sunsetted and I ended up working here at ZEISS, like seven years ago! I've had a measuring center full of engineers that kept me busy to look after. As my job evolves here, I may try and find more time to hang out here on the forum with you cool kids and try and keep my skills up.

Great hearing from you, and once again, quit it!

Will try to be at one of these expert classes. Although I haven't been exclusively on Calypso for many years, Ryan is clearly one of the best in the country.
