Rectangle as an alignment feature?

Is using a rectangle for translation constraint in an alignment:

a) appropriate
b) morally gray area but hey "you do you."
c) reprehensible and dangerous
d) you must first purchase a license from Zeiss for the rectangle addon


p.s. The shape of the hypothetical morally gray tolerance zone is circular, so you get 57% more licentiousness.

Thank you for this Jeff, lightens up our stressful days.

To O.P. : We need more info, a rectangular slot can obviously be used for a tertiary; a full rectangle - probably not.

A rectangle as a planar rotation is about a grey area as Ø zone position of a slot :
