[Jo...]
For those of us who were displeased with the icon changes in Calypso 2022 toolbar, of which there are many I believe, someone shared on another forum how to get the old toolbar back. I did it on my planner yesterday and it works... it's a small victory but a victory nonetheless. Maybe no one cares anymore, or maybe it's already commonly known but if it helps one person relieve the brain heartburn caused by the icon updates I'll call that a win. Here's the link you need. It's from Zeiss's own page and it's very easy to do. Log into your Zeiss portal, and it's under Knowledge Base. The link should work if your logged in, but if not just type in "interface" and an article about "restoring legacy icons" will pop up. It's got all instructions on how to do everything. https://portal.zeiss.com/knowledge-base ... id=1759176
[Cl...]
Please sign in to view this quote. Thanks for the tip, Jon. My first look at 2023 was like WTF is going on here? If it ain't broken, don't fix it!
[Ke...]
Bookmarked, for when I upgrade. Thanks for the direct link!
[Je...]
Seems like this page doesn´t work from germany. It just says "page not found". Or I need another, extra option on our service plan. Another idea what I´m doing wrong?

[Je...]
The Knowledge Base is created and maintained by the ZEISS-US teams. It is being piloted by the US market and is currently only available for the US region. Currently there are around 700 Knowledge Base articles and the quantity grows by the day (3-4 articles added weekly by my team specifically). Articles contain content including everything from helpful tips and error troubleshooting up to advanced programming solutions. Many of the topics posted here in the Community Forum are already answered directly in the Knowledge Base articles. Additionally, many of the topics that are presented here in the Community Forum are utilized as ideas for future articles. If you would like to see the ZEISS Portal Knowledge Base become available in your region, I would advise that contact your RSM to request adoption and access to the KB for your region. [Jo...]
See Tom's post; his way seems to have worked much easier and faster (and you won't need admin rights if that's an issue at your organizations). ***You do need the correct patch or later, mentioned in his previous post or it won't work. Thanks for posting this, Tom! I'm curious how you discovered this... and the fact that the new patch made this so easy to do with a couple of keystrokes has me wondering if the software teams at Zeiss got some heat over the changes last year. [Jo...]
Please sign in to view this quote. Check out Tom's link above. If you have a recent-enough patch you can get this through just a quick command prompt, so it's even easier than replacing the "pictures" directory. I was unnecessarily happy about getting my old toolbar look back. Haha.
[Je...]
Please sign in to view this quote. I do wonder how Tom learned this 😉 🤣 Additionally to the service pack requirement, it also requires that you have a parallel installation of CALYPSO 21 (7.2). The function changes the icon links to the 7.2 directory. The same work around exists if you create a pictures folder in the proper path in the 7.2 directory. A parallel installation isn't "needed" but it is definitely easier that way.
