Hi Everyone, Im just curious as to what everyone else is doing to formalize and streamline data collection for mechanical inspections. currently we are just using a blank excel spreadsheet to record data but id like to formalize this in some way. We use QC Calc to record all our data coming from our CMMS and Vision Systems currently. Is there an SPC software out there that can track and trend mechanical inspection data similar to QC-Calc?

This answer is going to sound like I'm trolling you but I swear i'm not. Its QC Calc.

They have another module called GageStation that does exactly what you're talking about. Or, you can manually enter data in RealTime but its not operator friendly.

What I would - and did - consider when I bought data collection software for our company is what will the next step in our digital quality system.
Is it possible to have NC management, quality planning, FMEA, print controlplans, gage and tool management, supplier evaluation and so on.

I chose QDA and we have added new modules to the system slowly.
I believe it is importen to have as much of the quality data in one system.

Yes, there are several software options available for formalizing and streamlining data collection for mechanical inspections, including Statistical Process Control (SPC) software. SPC software can help track and trend inspection data, analyze process variations, and provide insights for quality control.
When researching SPC software options, consider consulting with vendors, https://www.globaldatabase.com/empower-your-business-growth-with-b2b-data-enrichment-a-comprehensive-guide tools, reading product reviews, and requesting demos to assess how well each solution meets your specific requirements. It's also a good idea to involve your team members who will be using the software in the evaluation process to gather their feedback and ensure their needs are considered.

Take a look at DataLyzer as well. Imports Calypso data directly and even creates the SPC configuration. But also fully capable of reading from gages, or visual inspection. It is webbased, has full FMEA included as well as MSA and is available in 21 languages.
