[To...]
I am generating line and circle features by box selecting feature points on a curve. When I apply a rotational pattern to the curve, I see that I can apply patterns on the features but I can't tell if the box select parameters rotate with the pattern. I ran the curve in simulation and then opened a set of patterned lines and can only see actual points from the original curve location, so at this point, I assume this will not work. Since I can't control the stylus angle on the patterned curve, I'm thinking the best solution is to make copies of the curves and use Modify Nominals to rotate curve points to the desired location. However, this means creating a lot of unique box select parameters for the features. Any thoughts on simplifying this process?
[Er...]
Would it work to set up an alignment on center of the Pattern, and move/rotate the curve using the alignment and the Keep Position function? I don't know if the curve lines and circles would update to the new curve though.
