Hi All,

I tried to search for this but had no luck finding anything, sorry if it is a repeat question 🙂

i am trying to add translation values from a best fit Curve into result page.

basically, i am looking for something like "getActual("2D Curve PZ").xTrans" that I can call using Result element

image below shows what elements i am trying to extract

Funny how close you got by guessing. The correct attributes are transX, transY, and transZ. It always reports in millimeters (at least as of Calypso 2020) so if you ever find yourself needing to report in US customary units you'll have to convert it manually.

Anyone know why I'm receiving this error? It is a recalled 2D curve, with best fit enabled within the feature.

Edit: Figured it out. I need to create an alignment and get the translations from the alignment.

I have a similar question about this topic.  Does anyone know why when I recall the rotation values it reports the absolute value?   For example, I use getActual("Alignment, 8mm Rotor Profile").rotZ, the rotation value in the alignment is negative, but it reports it as positive.

I'd like to graph and see trends vs positive vs negative rotations, but can't with how its reporting.  It's not a showstopper, but it sure would be nice.
