[Sa...]
Hello All! I am back with more questions.... I have found a lot of success in creating final inspection sheets using data exported from piweb into Excel. However after a recent update to 8.0.17.0, all of the exported measurement values have been stored as text, causing an extra step, and confusion for my inspectors who use the templates I create. I had this issue many version ago, and solved it by discovering a tailing space behind each of my variable expressions. However, I have already figured out that this is not the issue this time. Does anyone have any tips on how to overcome exported measured values being saved as text instead of numbers? Please share anything you think will help, I am willing to give anything a shot, and always willing to learn something new, even if it doesn't necessarily solve my current issue. [Sa...]
Not sure how I overlooked this but I found an obvious solution: All of my formatting settings were set to string, rather than number. Sometimes all it takes is asking the question on this forum for me to come to a solution.
