[Mi...]
Hello Communiy, i dont know how, i dont know why, but somehow a already run program of mine is traveling to its parking position in such a low speed that it would barely win a race against a snail that is taking a 3 hour nap on the halfwaypoint. (just kidding but its unbearable slow) The Elements in the programm are running on a low speed but even when i am increasing the last run elements speed, nothing changes. I cant find any settings regarding the park position... Why does it travel so slow anyways ? All other travel speeds outside the Safetycube are completly fine. How do i change it back to normal speed ? Are there any specific settings to toggle the speed or is it linked with something ?? Thank you in advance, Michael
[No...]
I've seen extremely slow travel speed when the CMM hits a limit switch while moving. Our park positions usually move out of the Z clearance plane with an offset and then out of the +Y plane with offset. On the old MC 550 we often hit the Z limit switch with large parts, resulting in crawl speed.
[Mi...]
Please sign in to view this quote. Hi Norbert, i dont think thats it. I also Move out of the Z cleareance plane with an small offset and then to a fixed Position in the upper Corner. The Position is the same in every Program because i use a self made Template. Should either hit no limits or an Limit every time. But I will try to reduce travel distance and maybe the initial Endposition further out the safety cube. [Er...]
Maybe add a point with only Clearance and CMM position point to the end of the program?
[Mi...]
I believe the speed of the Park Position is tied to the speed of the last feature ran. If that's what is happening, you could speed up that feature, or change which is the last one ran. Or if you have PCM, you might get away with using setInspectionDrivingSpeed() in the PostSettings of that feature to increase the speed again?(No idea if that'll work but it's a thought)
