EXPORTING POINTS INTO DXF FILES PROBLEM

Hello,

I am scanning an irregularly shaped geometry using curve & the machinists at my job want to know the shape so they can reverse engineer the tool. I included a couple features into a points cloud & exported that into a dxf file for their software to read. The problem we are facing is that the machinists are saying that the DXF files that I have given them are including the offset of the ruby ball on the machine. I haven't done too much looking into this, is there something that I'm missing?

There is an option to export relative to the contact point, or the ball center.

Having said that, I have see before where it doesn't offset correctly, but not with DXF.
