[Da...] Posted April 20, 2023 Share Posted April 20, 2023 Contura G2, VAST XXT head. No matter what I do the stylus will not release. Using the rack, using the manual release, after 5 seconds it does not let go. I'm used to the XT head, new to the XXT head and styli, any help would be appreciated. [Da...] Posted April 21, 2023 Share Posted April 21, 2023 The XXT stylus can't be released automatically. If you use manual release, the whole RDS head will be thrown. Be careful, as it is only secured by a plastic pin. To get the stylus out, pull it down and then tilt it carefully off. When doing this, grab the stylus as high as possible to avoid damage.
