[Co...]
I have this feature of a rectangular shape that I am using a 2d curve for the line profile characteristic from the print. The problem I am having is this is a very large punched shape so while I am scanning the 2d curve around the whole feature the material is extremely rough no matter where it is scanned (shear or break) so the results I am getting are terrible. Is there another way that I can turn this feature into a line profile but by using single points instead of scanning. I have not taken the curve zeiss class so I am not completely familiar with using these there may be a simple way to turn the scan into single points but I have not learned this. I just want to take the scan out to remove the measurement error from the rough surface to better represent how it actually looks. It also needs to be one callout, I already thought about breaking down each side into its own single point profile space point.Capture.PNG
[Ch...]
Yes, you should be able to activate single points inside of the curve strategy, however those may not measure in the places you would like for example, it may only measure one or 2 points in the radii.. Another way would be to measure the individual elements : 4x 2d lines on sides and 4x radii with single points, then simply recall into a 2d curve .. Good luck. [Co...]
There is not an option to recall lines into a curve, the only option it gives is recall points so it doesn't allow me to select lines.
[Ma...]
Please sign in to view this quote. It was meant to measure 4x lines, then recall measured points into 2d curve.
