[Ja...]
Program is created, part is measured, report is generated, programmed is saved... next... I see that I can view the last part that was measured and reprint report. Is there a way to view multiple past reports?, or just the last? I remember my trainer mentioning RESULTS TO FILE... Is this related, or something different? Thank you for your help...
[Ju...]
If you activate Measuring points in the Result to File menu, an idmeaspoints folder is created in the program folder. This data can then be accessed by going to Plan>Subsequent evaluation.ResultToFile.jpg

Either way, your reply answered my question... I thank you!
[Ju...]
I think Table File is for when you want to export the data points to a third party software to analyze data trends. I'm not sure, though, as I have never needed to use it.
[Ja...]
Please sign in to view this quote. Is this change able to made across all SAVED PROGRAMS abroad, or does each program have to be changed manually? Thx again!!!
[Ju...]
Because this creates an idmeaspoints folder for each measurement plan file folder, it will need to be done for each individual program.
[Jo...]
Results to file is used if you want to output results to an external data collection software. I have used it extensively with QC-Calc from Prolink. If this is the case you have to map QC-Calc to where is the data coming from the CMM being saved and it will generate a database and update it automatically every time a part is run. [Er...]
Results to File is how we collate our data. The .chr file has all the data for our reports. We use Excel Power Query to load the data into Excel. Then use pivot tables based on the Query to populate the Report sheet. We also use the .chr file to import into JMP statistical software. [Ri...]
Believe it or not, there was a time before PiWeb Reporting, and Calypso didn't store data. Those were dark times. So dark that it forced people to use substandard software. I'm sorry.

[Ja...]
Please sign in to view this quote. Last question Sir... When pulling up a previous report is there an option to have the prior information (PO, Customer, Job #) attached?, or is the LAST entry in HEADER PARAMETER always used as the only option? Thank you once again!
[To...]
Please sign in to view this quote. No, it has to be changed manually. Note: you won't have any point data from previous runs. If you use a template program for new programs, you can turn it on in the template program so you won't have to remember to turn it on later. [Ju...]
I believe it will only import the data from the previous run and use the current Job #, etc.
