Default and Compact Printout basics

Sorry, this is a bit of a newbie question. Up until now, I've never had much use for the report types in question. However, in the interest of automating entry of our results into a separate reporting system, I need to ask:

Default Printout and Compact printout:
- What is omitted from compact to make it more compact than default?
- Are characteristics' results included in both or just one?
- If I specify how they are named in Resources>Name for output files..., will they be saved automatically?

- I find there is a lot of redundancy in the Default Printout, i.e. every time a feature is referenced, it will print the data on it.
- Characteristic results are in both.
- Yes, Name for output files will work for both. I just tested it with 2022.

I’m using the compact printout to export data to our server (successfully)..
You can customize it a little bit in the definition of the multiple report.

Some headaches to deal with:
- Some formatting rules change depending on the output language and not for all characteristics.

- If you want to transfer attributes is easier to handle them setting a list (i.e. using text element) instead of the protocol header.
