[Mi...]
Hello! I have the following problem: I use the rotary table in"passive" mode. Within a feature element for the base alignment there is a programmable stop which requests to position the jaw under the probe. Afterwards the basesystem will be measured (not before!). But when doing this, Calypso includes the new RT-position in the orientation of the feature elements forming the basesystem, which I exactly don’t want. Is there a simple way to prevent this behavior? Unfortunately there isn`t anything like "Base alignment is not rotating with rotary table" while using the RT in passive mode. Thanks in advance! [Mi...]
I don't think you can fix this with passive RT. Passive RT is to avoid wrong results caused by RT drift. You want an active movement, so you need active RT. But you can try to align the RT in a different program to set the position of the jaw, then you don't need the cnc-stop. Or you just activate RT 🙂
