[Cl...]
any tips on how to take an oddly shaped boss and measure the outer circumference? it comes up as a multiple of planes but how do i link them all together to make a final feature? i need to find true position of this feature compared to multiple datums cheers Link to comment https://qualityforum.zeiss.com/topic/8200-how-to-create-a-feature-to-measure-outer-circumference/ Share on other sites
[Ri...]
You can use Curve to calculate the length of the Curve Link to comment https://qualityforum.zeiss.com/topic/8200-how-to-create-a-feature-to-measure-outer-circumference/#findComment-35906 Share on other sites
[Er...]
From my understanding... Curve would be the proper way. I don't have Curve. The best way I have found is to use space points. Then use true position on the points. Then use Max Result on those true positions. [Ma...]
Would geometric alignment work? Depending on a shape i would simplify it to 2D lines and some intersections.
