[Cr...]
I have a callout for Max Material on a True Position, but I'm using the midpoint for the two points. Because, of this I'm not getting the Max material option, so is there a way to enter in a formula or other math into the program? Do not have PCM.True position.JPG
[Ro...]
Have you tried using a symmetry plane or symmetry point instead? They allow use of MMC/LMC.

In addition, if these are two points, you can use the Symmetry Point function which is a feature of size to give you direct access to MMC/LMC calculation without the need for formulas. [SH...]
Please sign in to view this quote. If I have MMB on datum for symmetry plane, any option for formula (for datum shift).??
[Ri...]
Please sign in to view this quote. The problem with MMB and LMB is the fact that they are not bonus tolerance like MMC and LMC. It is a virtual datum shift that you need to calculate. Can it be done, absolutely, but it's not an easy task.

A Zeiss senior engineer told me, Calypso 2023 will have 3D best fit( bore pattern) option, i think coming version will have more clarity in this area. [Jo...]
Please sign in to view this quote. The closest approximation I've been able to come up with.. If you make another pattern and allow it to shift, then recall that distance into Result element with a maximum tolerance(based upon formula with MMC departure .) This does not work in complex cases, and as I understand it some vectors cause Calypso issues. Don't forget simultaneous requirement must be met in the same "shift" position. If there is another identical FCF idk how to manage that.
[Cr...]
I tried to use either Symmetry point which get me MMC/LMC grayed out, and Symmetry Plane does have the option for MMC/LMC. Any ideas?Position-2.JPGPosition-1.JPG
[Ma...]
Create a theoretical circle. Use the slot width as the circle's diameter (Formula). Use the slot actual position(symmetry) for circle's position (formula) Use the circle's diameter to represent the slot size with tolerance in characteristics. Now perform true position on the circle
