Position Axis to a plane

Hello together,

i got a question for this kind of positioning. A plane is measured as position to a axis and the result is 0,05mm but if I use c-distance the measurement is 304.006mm where does the difference is coming from?.

The parallelity between those elements is 0,018mm.

thank you for your help.

Position value is doubled the worst deviation of feature ( should be based on size of feature ).

You can try to correct values of rotation of a plane to meet little better value.

You are on the right track looking at parallelism. As mentioned above, all aspects of the feature need to be accounted for to understand what is going on.

As an example, we have a perpendicular callout on a part that has to be adjusted. I had to work with tooling to get them numbers they could understand and use to make adjustments. On other parts CAD Evaluation is useful.
