[To...]
Hi I have had some issues on running a weekly qualification program. Actually it where measuring 0.1mm wrong. So I had to do qualification manually. I made two programs where I thought I could save the reference sphere angle in the program. But I guess that is not the case. So when I ran the program it had a wrong angle. That is my best guess on why it went wrong. Even though I can't figure out why it does measurement wrong afterwards. Thought the angle where just to avoid the shaft? I have only one reference sphere, but I am not able to qualify all of my stylus' with reference sphere in one position. So I have made a two qualification programs. But it seems that every time I open the program I have to set the angle of the reference sphere. Can that really be true? What other options do I have? Besides buying another reference sphere? Can I do a program with an optional stop where I would turn the reference sphere, so it could do those three stylus' that is not possible in the first position? Is it even possible to run qualification program in autorun? This is my program This is how all stylus' are setup
[Br...]
That reference sphere angle should get set when you locate the reference sphere with the master probe. Its not something you can change in a qualification program to my knowledge. Make sure all your styli are using the same reference sphere. You can adjust the size of the shaft within Calypso if you need to to get a little more clearance if that's the issue.
[Cl...]
To make life easier, I would just buy a second sphere. on two of my Conturas, I have 30mm, and 8mm ref spheres. Also, yes you can run the qualification program from autorun.
[Te...]
See if this document help The problem could stem from the name I don't think Calypso like # to be used. Back in the day it would cause some serious issues. It is not one the Forbidden Characters list so maybe it is OK now. forbiddenAnywhere="@²³µ|\´`" forbiddenFirst=" " forbiddenLast=" "Probe Qualification Program 2018.pdf
[Da...]
I made new program and my qualification is not working, previously i just set made this programs as copy of previous ones. The problem is what its not running but only recalculating last results. I have set everything like instructions in Ted Hurlbutt's pdf But meybe i'm just blind and not see something in settings. My program is kind of simple version because its made for L stylus for qualification in two positions of repherence sphere. So i have qualified the position of reference sphere manually in position 1 and masked all characteristics for qualifing stylus in position of reference sphere in position 3. Later i want to run other part. Its not working whenever i try to run manually characteristic or whole program with masked half part of it. Any thoughts what may be cause of this situation 🙂 ? [Jo...]
I have been using the orientation of the ref sphere for all probe calibrations at 180 deg x 0 deg (straight up and down) and I've never had any issues running my qualification program.ref sphere orintation.PNG
