I've just started experimenting with custom templates. If you drop your print image in and pin it, then set your bubble default to suitable size, populating the bubbles is very quick. I select all the data providers at once and drop on image. Then it's a matter of rearranging them on the sheet. If they are conditionally formatted, f5 will refresh so you know it's working.

In our next release we will have some new tools to better visualize balloons & prints in PiWeb. We will have new elements in designer to show balloons directly in PiWeb Monitor. These elements will also work with standard functionality like hyperlinks & filters.

The next planned release for PiWeb is Version 8.2 which we hope to have finished in February. PiWeb revision 8.2 will also be integrated into the upcoming release of CALYPSO.

It is not planned to have Auto Ballooning functionality within PiWeb as there are many tools that do this very well and many are very strong regionally. Our plan is that customers can use their native ballooning software and export the characteristics with balloon positions, page number etc., at which point we can import that information to visualize results together in one report.

I´m working with the PiWeb version 8.2.16, looking for some options to integrate the ballooning in our measuring templates I heard the next in your last measuring hero video "native ballooning software and export the characteristics with balloon positions" what that means? for example I´m using the Inspection Manager by HighQA but I don't know how to do it also I search information into the manual but there is not information, is there an specific extension to do that?

That sounds terrific, Joshua.

It would be great if PiWeb allowed ballooning to act more intuitive and "up front" (think toolbar buttons, right-click context menus, shortcuts and hotkeys). I'll be honest, the current method feels a little backdoor and cumbersome. I'm grateful that ballooning is being considered, though.
