Trying to learn this new piweb editor also, you could cheat for now and drop the margins out in the same page properties tab. Or do it the hard way and resize everything. I tried transfer format with a smaller font size, but I'm unsure how to apply it to multiple text elements at once, it seems to only do one at a time.

You are talking about this editor? I have had some help with changing the header and all. You can custom the margins and sizes to however you like. I believe if you go to page setup and choose your setup, you can then go and change what is showing and save it as a new Copy or what you want to name it as.

Does the PiWeb editor come with Calypso or do I need to get that separately? If separate, is it a free utility and where do I download it? If it comes with Calypso how to I get into it?

Tom, I just went to the Advanced Class for Calypso and someone else had the same problem. The instructor did not have an answer to fix the problem. We used the CTRL + P to print anything out and that seems to help.

The editor comes with Calypso. To get into it, you first need to create something you can actually edit, because the original templates from Zeiss are read-only. First open the Multiple Printout Window. Select the template you want to edit and click the pencil button on the right (note that the window layout has changed in Calypso 2018):

Next you'll be asked if you want a generic or a measurement plan specific template:

Generic templates are meant to be used with all measurement plans and are usually stored in C:\users\blabla\CALYPSO\protocol\piWebReportingTemplates, while specific templates are tailor-made for one measurement plan and reside in the plan's folder.

The new template will then be opened for editing and will also appear in the template list in the Multiple Printout window.

I'm using CTRL+P to get around it, this way with correct scaling setting the printout comes out OK.
I've noticed the old Custom Printourt worked the same way, but not as bad, so it wasn't cutting off any dimensions.

My personal preference is to use the pdf output along with Ghostscript so all pages are combined and resized automatically then sent to storage

This is the way I made measurement plan specific templates in Calypso 2016. 2018 has changed how things are saved and I am looking for anyone who has dealt with making the above with Calypso 2018. There is a column for Measurement plan specific templates, but I do not see an option to save there.

When you make a measurement plan specific template, then it will show up in the "box". Its blank because you have not saved a specific template to your program.

Its saved automatically. Never seen it give an option. Make one and assign it to your prg and it will show up here

Tom - has this issue ever been resolved as I am having the same problem?
I/we are new to PiWeb and are trying to get up to speed as quickly as possible, but my concern is that I'm clipping characteristics from the last row on a given page.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

EDIT - issue resolved - found this in the knowledge base. https://portal.zeiss.com/knowledge-base ... &id=443321
.. not sure how I missed it to be honest... Thanks PMB
