Manual Alignment of One Feature

I have a ring with two flats on the OD. One flat is a datum and the other flat needs to be measured.

I currently don't have a fixture (engineering hasn't finalized the design and sent it to the tool room to be made).
Because I don't have a good fixture, I don't have a good way to clock this part except to align it to a black mark on the plate visually we are currently using.

I have attempted to look through the forums with no success.
What I am wondering is, Is there a way, for me to have a prompt or something that the operator can measure only the Datum flat and not have to do a full manual alignment each time?

This can be set for the desired feature in Measurement Plan Editor Features under Man CNC Mode.
